Loads of Adventure in The Divergent Series

Hollywood is known to make sequels of movies and eventually turn them into franchises. While some of them continue to work, the rest simply fail. The recently released film, London Has Fallen, was an attempt to make a franchise but the movie didn’t do as well as the first part which was called – Olympus Has Fallen. This does not mean that the makers won’t continue to release more films in this series, but it’s uncertain if the audience would be interested in watching them. Some of the most popular film franchises in the recent past are the Maze Runner films and The

Divergent movies. Both of them have done very well and their final parts are yet to hit theatres.

While the second part of the Maze Runner films released last year, the third instalment of the Divergent series has just come out. The film titled The Divergent Series: Allegiant is one of the best adventure films that has come out this year. Fans of the series loved it and can’t wait for the final part, which will release next year. That will conclude this series of adventure films. All of the Divergent movies are based on books with similar names but the last book has been split into two movies.

For those who aren’t aware of this series, the films feature some famous actors. The stars who have been a part of this series are Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller and Ansel Elgort. All of them are slowly making a name for themselves in Hollywood and their fan following is simply growing with every movie.

Even though Shailene Woodley played the love interest of Ansel Elgort in the movie The Fault in Our Stars, they are not paired opposite each other in these adventure films. In the Divergent, Shailene Woodley is seen romancing Theo James while Ansel Elgort plays her brother. The chemistry between Shailene and Theo has been appreciated by many. In fact, they are the strongest point of this series and most people watch the films for them.

This latest release has been directed by Robert Schwentke and the man has also helmed the previous instalment of this series. Besides the two Divergent movies, Robert Schwentke has also worked on films like Eierdiebe, Tattoo, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Flightplan, Red and R.I.P.D. Sadly, he won’t be returning as the director for the fourth and final part of The Divergent Series as that film is being directed by Lee Toland Krieger. Lee has previously worked on films like Celeste and Jesse Forever, The Age of Adaline and The Vicious Kind.
